I meant to upload this some time ago, heh!
Here's my second corset ever (and maybe fourth sewing project), finished in a rush and featuring really odd supplies like plastic (gasp!) and metal parts from the local DIY store. Next time the binding will be straighter, I promise!
Let's see, three layers of thick black denim, one of them fused to the fashion fabric - very shiny, sturdy, midnight blue and sadly the fabric store only had a very small piece left.
All the stitching is red and satin stitching was added at the center front and at the hip gussets. There are also iridiscent red and black piping accents added to the front seam.
I drafted that pattern myself and eleminated some issues I had with the first pattern and added the four hip gores doing that.
Will use this pattern again as I like the shape but the next one will DEFINITELY have a busk again!
